I am a native of the San Francisco Bay Area. I graduated from California State University, Hayward, with a B.A. in Fine Arts, and have been working part-time-professionally with clay since 1983. Most of my full-time career has been spent working as a drafter, technical illustrator or graphic designer. In 1999, I opened The Clay Playce, a working studio, classroom, and gallery in Livermore, CA.

In the Spring of 2007, I relocated to northwest Ohio. Since that time, I have been working as a full-time artist, offering classes in hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery, and participating in local shows and galleries.
